Between vibrant Galway city and the relaxed seaside resort of Salthill, this hotel offers great leisure facilities and easy access to Connemara, the Aran Islands and the West.

The Clybaun Hotel is bright and spacious, and its bar, restaurant, cafe and public areas were completely refurbished in 2009.

The hotel's NRG Leisure Centre has an 18-metre indoor heated pool, a gym, a steam room, a sauna, a whirlpool and an outdoor Canadian hot tub. There are activities for adults and children. NRGize beauty clinic offers treatments using Dermalogica products.

Callaghan's Bar & Bistro offers all-day dining and The Coffee Dock has lighter options to eat in or to go. Dine al fresco in the decked garden. Free Wi-Fi is offered in all dining and drinking areas.

From 1 October 2009, Hotel Clybaun will be a non-smoking hotel.

Room Information
All rooms are bright and airy with soft, comfortable furnishings. Each one features both a bath and a shower. There are 4 accessible guest rooms.

Food and Beverage
A full traditional Irish breakfast buffet is served from 07:00 to 10:30 (and until 11:00 on weekends).

Lunch is offered in the bar from 11:30, with specials changing daily. The Coffee Dock is open from early morning until 18:00.

The Restaurants table d'hôte and à la carte menus are available from early evening until 21:30. The bar-food menu runs from early afternoon until 21:30.

Lobby service is also available. Summer barbecues may also be booked for groups.

Hotel Information
The Ellon Suite can cater for up to 300 guests, banquet-style. The Adams and Lohan suites can cater for up to 40 delegates.

Area Information
Galway city is renowned for its great shopping, dining, bars and nightlife. Its attractions including theatres, museums and festivals. The hotel is located close to Salthill promenade, which boasts one of the longest promenade walks in Europe. Dont forget to kick the wall at Blackrock - good luck is assured.

There is always a festival or event happening in Galway, particularly from June through to September. The Galway Arts Festival, Races and Oyster festival are the most popular events.

Travel Information
Directions from Shannon Airport:
- Proceed to the 1st roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto the R472.
- At Shannon town roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the N19.
- At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit and merge onto the N18.
- Pass through Ennis, Crusheen, Gort, Ardrahan, Kilcolgan and Clarinbridge until you approach Oranmore.
- Upon approaching Oranmore, take the 3rd exit of the roundabout.
- At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit for the N6.
- At the Martin Roundabout, take the 2nd exit for Galway City West.
- At Lynch roundabout, take the 2nd exit.
- Pass Ballybrit racecourse on your right and continue driving to the next roundabout and take the exit for the N6.
- Proceed to Morris roundabout and take the 2nd exit.
- Proceed to Font roundabout and take the 2nd exit.
- Proceed to Kirwan roundabout and take 2nd exit.
- Proceed to Bodkin roundabout and take the 3rd major exit for the N59 (Clifden).
- Cross the River Corrib via the Quinn Centennial Bridge and continue through the traffic lights.
- Proceed to Brown roundabout and take 3rd exit.
- Proceed to Deane roundabout and take the last exit, marked Clybaun Road.
- Continue straight through the next 2 roundabouts and the Clybaun Hotel is located on the 3rd roundabout on the right.

Directions from Dublin:
- Take the N6 via Miltownpass, Rochfordbridge, Tyrellspass, Kilbeggan, Horseleap, Moate, Athlone, Ballinasloe, Kilreekil, Craughwell and Galway.
- At the Martin roundabout take the 2nd exit for Galway City West.
- Follow the rest of the directions as above.


Directions from Sligo:
- Take the N17 via Ballinacarrow, Tubbercurry, Charlestown, Knock, Claremorris, Ballindine, Milltown, Tuam, Claregalway and Galway.
- At Font roundabout take the 2nd exit
- Follow the rest of the directions as above.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 12:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
