The spacious lounge is tastefully decorated and features an electric fireplace, TV and comfortable furniture. The open-plan kitchen/dining area has a sunny aspect and plenty of space. The kitchen is fully fitted with all the modern conveniences, such as an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and microwave. All necessary kitchen utensils and crockery are provided.
Upstairs a spacious landing leads to 3 bedrooms; 1 double bedroom with en suite and 2 twin bedrooms. Each bedroom has more than adequate storage space. There is a main bathroom upstairs with toilet, hand basin, shower and bath.
The houses are heated with electric central heating and there are storage heaters in each room. In addition, all bed linen and towels are provided.

Kenmare lies approximately 30 minutes away drive from a host of sandy beaches and it has a very pretty harbour from where you can swim, fish or take a trip on the Seafari Cruise to view the wildlife in the area. Kayaking, sailing, canoeing, hill walking, childrens playground, golf, diving, horse riding, and bicycle hire are also available in the area.
Kenmare is known as the jewel in the Ring of Kerry. Located between two of the most beautiful touring routes in Europe - the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara a number of interesting day trips can be taken from Kenmare.
Killarney is a 40 minute drive away and Cork City is just over an hour's drive.
There is a great selection of pubs and late night bars to choose from in Kenmare, with many featuring live music from traditional Irish to rock and modern styles. |
By Car:
From Limerick/Cork:
- Take the N22 to Castle Island.
- Continue on the N23 to Farranfore.
- Then take the N22 to Killarney.
- At the first roundabout turn left onto the Ring Road for Cork.
- Continue towards Cork for approximately 12 miles.
- Turn right onto the R569 for Kenmare (guests travelling from Cork turn left onto the R569).
- Once you reach Kenmare Town, drive along Shelbourne Street.
- Turn right at the Post Office onto Henry Street.
- You will reach a crossroads; continue on straight through this passing Quills Woollen Market on your right-hand side.
- Continue straight on this road passing Holy Cross Church on your left-hand side.
- Follow the road as it veers around to your left and Kenmare Sunnyhill is located on the right-hand side of the road.
From Killarney:
- Take the N71 Scenic Ring of Kerry Road to Kenmare.
- On the approach to the town you will pass by The Kenmare Bay Hotel on your right and the Centra Petrol Station on your left. Take the next left as you enter the town.
- After 100 yards take another left.
- You will pass the Holy Cross Church on the left.
- Follow the road as it veers around to your left and Kenmare Sunnyhill is located on the right-hand side of the road. |
